there are a few sober cruises. The way it works is that a that the sober organization will charter a ship. Try sobercruises.com or sobercelebrations.com

I have looked at and been on cruises on many cruise lines and ships and never seen or run into any that were alcohol free. In fact the cruise ships make a lot of money selling drinks and that's one of the main reasons why they all do not allow passengers to bring liquor on board. The bottom line is if you don't want to drink you don't have to. I normally have only one or two drinks on a 7 day cruise and could very well go without those. Alcohol is not required for you to have a good time.

I think that the best you will be able to do is to go on a cruise line that is more reserved with its drink offerings; one where there is not a server coming by with drink every other minute trying to get you to buy on. I think that you will find that on the more upscale and reserved cruise lines like Celebrity, Holland America and Princess. I know from first hand experience that Royal Caribbean and NCL push drinks and I'm pretty sure that Carnival, as the party boat does also.

If you husband is a recovering alcoholic or just wants support to keep from drinking, what I have seen on many ship is Alcoholic Anonymous meetings. They generally post a sign and also have it listed in the daily newsletter as; "FRIENDS OF BILL W".

My suggestion for your honeymoon cruise is go on a Celebrity or Princess cruise ship. And look for the Friends of Bill W meetings.

Sorry, where there are adults and the idea is to have a good time there will alcohol. Cruise lines serve drinks because that's part of the entertainment. Has nothing to do with them wanting you to spend more money, doesn't mean you have to participate.

There will be lots of adults enjoying their time with out drinking. Even in the clubs on board. We were just on a cruise and enjoyed the night life with out having a drink.

It will be up to your fiancee to stay dry.

I would recommend looking for cruises where the party atmosphere is de-emphasized. Any of the budget and mid-range priced cruises are going to have lots of people drinking lots of alcohol. I'd suggest looking into cruise lines that focus on other aspects of cruising. Lindblad Expeditions (www.expediations.com) is one such cruise line that might work out better for your situation, and will certainly be an unforgettable experience.

I highly doubt that you'll be able to find an alcohol-free atmosphere at any vacation destination, but avoiding the typical party destinations and party-oriented cruise lines should be a good start.

For a total alcohol-free experience, stay home or keep him/her occupied in your stateroom ;-). It's a major source of revenue for all the lines.

HAL and Costa push it the least, RCCL, CCL, and maybe Princess the most.

Very available in every port of call.

I don't believe there are any. The thought is get people tipsy and they will spend more money. It works so well in fact that many "land" destinations offer free drinks as you as you leave the boat in hopes you will shop til you drop!

I know of a good website to get good prices on a cruise. Go to http://www.vacationsnbeyond.com, there will be some alcohol on all cruise lines so im not sure your ?
