I went on my first cruise last summer on the Carnival Imagination to the Bahamas. I had the most amazing time. I was super nervous to get on the ship, but in the end I did not want to get off.

There were so many fun things to do on the ship each day. They give you a schedule each night of the next days activities which is great so you can plan out your day. When you are in port they often have deals at the spa. Night entertainment was good. I really like the comedy shows! BIngo was fun that often happened right before the show. Also karaoke is pretty entertaining.

The crew was awesome so energetic and fun. The cruise director we had was hilarious, and I often found myself watching the cruise ship channel in bed where the show all the activities from the day. The dining staff was the BEST! So entertaining I highly recommend eating in the dining room each night. So much fabulous food and you can have it all!

One of my favorite things was eating french fries at midnight. I know that sounds silly but they make a great midnight snack and the fact that they are always there at the buffet waiting for me was great! haha

The room was a little cramped but that's expected, and you're only in there to sleep anyway. I often felt the movement of the ship in there too. The bathroom is teeny tiny what I did was go to the gym in the mornings or the spa (sit in the sauna or steam room) then I would shower there. The showers are much bigger.

Cruises are fantastic, all you can eat food, you can go to the dining room, buffet dining, 24 hour pizza or 24 hour room service, no choice is wrong. Entertainment, Carnival is the party ship, lots of music and dancing and loads of fun. the shows and art food buffet is cool, the pool side games are cool because you can win prizes. Make sure your room is in the center of the boat because the front you'll hear the anchor in the morning and the back you hear the motors running while moving. Defiantly get off the boat and experience the ports its really cool to see different cultures.

Make sure your cabin is around the middle of the ship.
I always liked my cabin to have a port hole.

You wont find a bad cruise on any of the major lines. Entertainment is excellent as is the food and you will find many things to keep you busy if you don't want to just relax. Carnival is an excellent cruise line.

the worst thing that ever happened to me on a ship was on my first cruise (disney) i was about 8 yrs old and i told my mom i was a big girl and that i could get my own soda. when i started to go back i couldnt find my family so i found someone who worked on the boat tapped him on the shoulder and as soon as he turned around i started crying sooo loud and at that moment my big sister came and found me. but i really love carnival cruises there's always something to do and i love to dress up for the captain's dinner and take pictures. my favorite one was 3 yrs ago when i met a good friend named jason and we did everything together including winning the ping pong tournament!
