Save your breath. You don't have to convince your Mom. Sorry you are not old enough to go on a cruise alone, per the cruise line rules.
But you could go if you take your Mom with. Win-win.

Cruises are very safe.
You must be 21 on most cruise lines to cruise alone.
If you cruise alone you must pay a single suppliment that will almost double the cost of the cruise.
Your best bet is to wait a year and go with a friend or find someone 25 or older to go with you now. The link below will list the age requirements for each of the cruise lines.

no, mothers will always worry, especially the things that are going on when on a cruise. people falling overboard and such. lots of bad things happen to good people. just be very carefull. you do not say your age.
