Are Carnival Cruiseline rooms small?

I'm in the beginning stages of planning a wedding aboard Carnival Conquest. I've looked at the rooms on the website and they look especially small. Is it wrong of me to assume 4 guests per room, most likely an inside cabin at that? Looks like only 2 people can fit in the rooms..

Carnivals rooms are actually some of the largest available. i have cruised with 4 people in an inside cabin and its doable...make sure to store your luggage under the bed and you'll have to takwe turns with the bathroom but honestly you arent in the room that much...Have fun

Compared to what you are used to at home or at a hotel, yes, the rooms are small. Compared to other cruise ships, no. Standard cabins on Carnival (including inside) are among the biggest in the industry when compared to the standard cabins on other similar cruise lines (other than the luxury lines).

Here is a picture of a cabin set up to sleep four ...

The biggest problem when trying to put 4 people in one standard stateroom is not the actual size of the cabin, because you're only really in the cabin to sleep. You are going to run into the biggest traffic jam when everyone is trying to get ready for dinner at the same time. If you decide to do this, I'd have half the people take turns showering, etc. in the spa area. The showers there are much larger than the ones in your cabin . Good Luck and Bon Voyage.

Carnival Cruiseline have bigger room than other cruiselines because it is meant for family. you have 2 twins that convert to queen and 2 bunk beds hiding in the wall or ceiling. But it is still small. If you have many days at sea on your itinerary you might want to book doubles instead of quads.

THEY ARE XTRA SMALL IF YOU ARE THINKING OF PUTTING PEOPLE TOGETHER IN INSIDE ROOMS YOU BETTER MAKE SURE THAT THEY REALLY KNOW EACH OTHER, GET ALONG AND THAT YOU PRAY THAT NOTHING WILL HAPPEN DURING THE CRUISE BECAUSE THEY WILL BE VERY UNHAPPY

Do not do 4 per room unless it is a suite or state room. The ones we are staying in are inner, and they are pretty small even for 2. 4 in each little room means 2 have to stay on those pull down shelf like beds.

Cruise ship rooms are always small unless you get a suite. But its not small to the point that you cant live in them. They're fine. You are hardly ever in your room anyways. I stayed in one with 3 other people and it was bad at all.

I've gone on Carnival twice -- once with 4 people in my room and once with 2. I'm not gonna lie, the 4 people was VERY cramped. However, when you're on a cruise, you only head back to the room to sleep for a few hours, and most people are drunk by the time it's time to sleep anyway. As long as the shower times are spread out throughout the day, 4 to a room is feasible. If possible though, for the comfort and happiness of your guests, I would go with the 2 to a room. Hope this helps.

Cabins for 4 people will have bunk beds that come down from the ceiling. Which cabins fit how many people is shown on the deck plan, and if you're booking for 4 people they'll only let you book a cabin that can fit that many. =)

FYI, cruise ship cabins *are* small in comparison with hotel rooms, but in general Carnival designs their cabins pretty well.

My cousins fit 4 people in a Carnival cabin and while they didn't want to hang out in there, it was fine. Don't overpack, though, as closet space will be limited!

By all means, cruise line cabins are small across the board, unless you are looking at a suite. The rooms on the Conquest are "average", the smallest I've ever seen are on the Sovereign of the Seas. 4 in an interior cabin may be comfy, but doable. They typically have two lower beds and then one or two that will fold down out of the wall(bunk bed style) or perhaps one roll away.

Maybe only 1 person can fit in the room haha. You can check the sq ft usually like 185sq ft. But you dont spend that much time in the room just sleeping and changing clothes and what not.
