NO, but I did take that same cruise last May and the ship and the cruise were great. You must be going to Aruba, Curacao and St Thomas and ST Maarten, just like we did. The cruise is very nice because you have some "at sea" days when you can just enjoy the ship. The beaches in Aruba are great; but there are not really any great sights to see. That island is very dry and arid and a wind blows all of the time. On Curacao we went on a tour that included a stop at a liquor factory and that was good too. Be sure to see in Curacao the floating pontoon bridge open. Its right in town near where the ship docks.
I love the Adventure of the Seas. It has a lot of activities on board like the rock climbing wall, a mini-golf course, a roller skating rink, an ice skating rink, and a great free ice show put on by former Olympia skaters.

I was on the AOS last year and really enjoyed it. The ship probably has more activities onboard than any other ship I have ever been on.
Three things really made the ship stand out to me. Be sure to check out the ice skating shows, it is amazing how they perform those jumps in such a small space on a moving ship. AOS also has the best karaoke at sea because you get to sing in front of a live band. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to be a contestant on American Idol don't miss your shot. Lastly the specialty restaurant Portofino is amazing. The service, ambiance and food are top notch and not to be missed. |

No sorry i'm not but I know a way to find people who are! Go to cruisecritic.com, this is a great site! After you get there click boards and then follow directions to find people on your crusie. You can actually talk to different people that are going on your same cruise! And join the meet-and-mingle and then when your on the ship Royal Caribbean hosts a party just for those people! Its great! We did it and it was soo nice to actually know people BEFORE we even started off on our vacation! The ship is WONDERFUL!!!!!!! and royal Caribbean is the best cruise line! The staff is wonderful and the ship is soo cool....Have fuN!! |
