You wouldn't believe how many friendships (even some relationships) start because of cruising together. After a short amount of time, you will get to know each other and have a great time.

The biggest thing is not to miss the first day's activities. The cruise counselors will have lots of activities planned that will help everyone get to know each other. By the end of the first day, you will know everyone and be having a blast, just like you do with your friends at home. If you miss these activities though, it can be hard to fit in better later in the cruise, just because they know each other, and you don't. (People say it is kind of like starting at a new school in the middle of the year, it is a little hard to fit in) But the thing is, most of the other kids onboard don't know each other either, so everyone is getting to meet each other.

Just have fun, relax and be sure to take part in the activities. The teen clubs are pretty cool. Again, even if you aren't sure if you will like the clubs, go to the first activities just in case so you get to know everyone.

If you don't think you will have a good time, ask your parents and maybe they will let you bring a friend.

Have a great time!

I would say that the answer is no. They are more fun because you dont know the people beforehand. I found that you let yourself go a little more because you dont have to be intimidated by what they might think of you. It is a blast to get to meet new people while jamming to your favorite songs. So if you are a teen and are booked on a cruise, just go and have a blast and dont let being shy get in the way. Just think of it this way you are on vacation probably in some exotic country and you arent at home where the people you do know are stuck being bored! Bon Voyage!

No one knows anyone....just be friendly and you'll meet some people to hang with

dandanthecranman
No they are tons of fun!!! The best part is not knowing anyone. You get to meet a whole bunch of new people, and if they aren't really your type of friend you will never see them again. If they are you can keep in touch after the cruise.

Happy Cruising!

heathermagoo13
No, it's very cool because everyone is so friendly because they have no worries! Give the waiters/bartenders great tips because they will give you free stuff!

Rob D
No; they're great because you don't have the pressure of ever having to see the people again; and if a boy gets out of line, your dad can just throw him overboard.
