Are there any cruise ships that allow dogs on the cruise?

We are UK-based and would like to take our border collie on a cruise ship.
Additional Details
Our dog has his pet passport so quarantines aren't an issue. We would like to take our Border Collie on a cruise. Do any companies offer this?

I am a travel agent, and I have never heard this question before (first time for everything!)

I'm almost positive that you will not find a passenger cruise line that will accept an animal of any kind on board, but you might try looking at some of the barge cruises that defy many mainstream rules...

I think the largest obstacle you might face is that there really isn't anywhere on a sailing vessel for your pet to "do his/her outdoor business" and that is a health concern.

Not to mention each countries quarantine requirements.

Best bet would be to board your canine companion at a well respected facility close to your home, or anticipated port of embarkation.

They definitely have kennels on Queen Mary 2.
We were aboard last July and there were at least 6 dogs there. They are let out (but only into an enclosed area on deck) during the day. The kennels are situated quite high up, I think on either Deck 12 or 13.

"Queen Mary 2’s kennel programme is available on all crossings between New York and Southampton in either direction, and is overseen by a full-time Kennel Master who takes care of responsibilities such as feeding, walking and cleaning the ship’s 12 spacious kennels. Travelling dogs and cats also receive a complimentary gift pack and other animal amenities. The kennels and adjacent indoor and outdoor walking areas are open throughout the day, enabling guests to spend significant time with their pet. Reservations for the kennels may be made at time of booking, and are based on space availability. Contact Cunard for fees and additional requirements."

I very much doubt it.

You will also struggle as your dog will be subject to quarantine.

The only dogs allowed on Disney ships are 'working' dogs.

Doubt it as you will have quarantines in each country you visit. But you wont be visiting if you take dog as they will not allow it.

No you can't unless it is a service dog like a seeing eye dog. I have seen that before. Cunard use to have a kennel on board, but I do not know if they still do.. I don't blame you for wanting to take your dog though. Last year I went on a 29 day cruise and had to leave my dog with my daughter. I really missed him.
