Are there any ships with rooms or suites that sleep 5?

My family is wanting to go on a cruise together. I have never taken the children before. I have three, none over 18, so I need to have us all sleep in the same room.

I am hoping for Hawaii, but willing to go just about anywhere the kids will enjoy.

Disney Cruiseline!!!!!

Their rooms are bigger than most ships rooms and even the smallest cat. room can fit 4-5!!! they have pull down bunks that your maid will pull down when she turns down your room for the night!

Beside that the cruise is amazing itself!!!
You can pick through a number of options of what islands you want to visit but my fav is the Bahamas and then Disneys Private Island Castaway Cay, so secluded so nice! They have a Family beach and a Teenage Beach, but of course my fav is the adult beach far far far away from the noise and kids and they serve AMAZING mahi mahi and drinks!!!

I've been on 4 disney cruises and NEVER have had one complaint, the other ships i've been on carnival and royal carribean i could think of a few complaints!!! My family is begging me for the next disney cruise.

My favourite cruise line to book for a group of 5 is Celebrity Cruise lines as they have some wonderful options for a family. Carnival and Disney are also great places to start as is Royal Caribbean. Essentially, go into an agency and grab all the books you see. Sit down and look at the cabin plans for the ship. Family friendly rooms and suites can be easily identified and often the brochure will point them out for you. Hawaii is an interesting destination, but remember you have that long flight to Hawaii and back and that can add up in cost. Inform yourself of what products are on the market and then make your decision from there. Find the ship you want to travel on and the see where it will take you! A great source is http://www.cruisetravelmag.com/ look for it in your magazine section of your favourite book store or visit the site. Many letters from guests so it is a great source!

TINKERTOY ..... the 1 & only
All cruise lines have suites and they all sleep multiple persons. It all depends upon what you want to pay. Some suites have two bedrooms with full baths in each and a connecting living room. Just check the cruise line web sites, in particular those that do HAwaii.

Well me and my brother (14 yrs old) and my parents recently went on a cruise and we all slept in the same room, me and mr brother each got out own bunk bed and our parents each slept underneath us. (they couldnt sleep together though) we had a basic room and it was fine. it was a little crouded sometimes but we had some family bonding. LOL. plus our cabin (thats what a room is called on a cruise in case u didnt know) was on the outside and it had a window, thereofre compared to the rooms in the inside with now windows it was fairly small. But i think if one person wouldn't mind sleeping on the ground and that it doesnt matter if you dont have a window, u could get an inside cabin and be fine unless your kids find anything to fight about such as: Amy left her hair brush on my side of the bed! Or: Why are billy's underwear underneath my bed?!? Then you might have a slight problem.
but if you still feel that wont be big enough i know on every ship there is like a presedential suite - http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/cabinclass/home.do;jsessionid=0000R3eeAaZ2paWLPtMMtizrdVi:10kohi76p?cS=NAVBAR - check out the sweet deluxe -
It's kind of expensive though
Also, may i suggest: http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/destinations/home.do;jsessionid=0000R3eeAaZ2paWLPtMMtizrdVi:10kohi76p?dest=HAWAI you said u wanted hawaii! and this is also royal caribbean, they are great! trust me! I went on a rc cruise a couple months ago and my parents already planned another one for June! So good luck and enjoy your vacation!
Hope I helped!

There are a few rooms that sleep over 5 people. One is the Family Stateroom (this one can sleep up to 6 people) which can accomodate a rollaway bed or a Pack 'n Play. Another is the Family Interior Stateroom (this one can sleep up to 6.) Hope this helps you out and have a nice trip on your cruise!!

There are cruise lines, such as Princess, that would allow a room as long as one of the kids is at least 16. Also, rather than be crowded, and since you want to make the kids happy, you could get 2 cabins, you in one with some kids and spouse in other with kids. There are cabins for 5 on several of the cruise lines, but it depends on your budget, whether you want to get into the higher price per person and be crowded, or one of the above options and have more room.

Tamilla M
Yes, there are ships that allow 5 to sleep and also there are cruise lines that allow you children to sleep next door with one adult booked in the room with the children. (ie. Carnival Cruise Lines)

Any name brand cruise like norweigan and carnival cruise lines has the group rooms usual only about 2 or 4 of those size suites will be available per ship but they are available if requested. I know the cheap group rate cruise suites are on www.ytbtravel.com/gordonsa my wife scheduled ours through that travel agent site and he was great his name is Mr. Gordon and can be reach at 808-375-3922 if you want to speak to an agent he's the best. And I have a big family so he helped us out.

Good Luck and have fun.

That great big new cruise ship, is it called Freedom of the Seas? Has family cabins. I think they cost an arm and a leg, though!
