There are "so called" discount sites for cruises, BUT if you compare a cruise to the same one offered on the cruise lines own website, you will see the price is the same!!
I have searched on all of the major ones like vacationstogo, cruisesonly, travelocity, lastminutecruises, cruisecheap, etc... not one of them had a better deal than any other site, including the cruise lines own sites. Granted, sometimes they throw in discounts on shore excursions, or onboard credits that you may or may not use (spa treatments, etc...).
Your best bet is to go through a travel agent and see what they can do, and before booking, see what the cruise is actually going for on the cruise lines web site. Also see what they are willing to give you for booking with them. If nothing, then dont bother with them.
To the people that give this a thumbs down mark, check it out first! I have been looking for a few months now for a good deal on a cruise, and this is what I have found. |

If you have a flexible schedule, you can take advantage of last minute bookings. Cruise lines like to fill the ship and as a the time of departure nears, the prices on available rooms because "cheap"
Sign up for emails from the cruise lines and you will get these last minutes deals. The catch is getting air fare to the port you depart from and having the time to go "immediately"
Look for discounts offered through the cruise line, for example NCL cruise lines will give you a discount if you are a member of a Union. |
