There aren't always obvious fees, but sometimes you may have to pay for food, extra services, etc. They don't mention those things all the time. |

A complementary cruise is usually a scam. Like if it is for the Imperial Majesty cruise ship(I think that is the name, but it is Something Majesty), then don't accept the offer. It is a pigsty of a ship and they push alcohol on you every where you go so you can't even have one minute of pleasure. No such thing as a complementary cruise unless you entered a contest and actually won one. |

Any "complimentary" cruise is going to be on an old ferryboat. You will probably be required to attend a sales presentation. If the cruise is one day there may be a charge if you want a room. If the ship is the "Imperial Majesty" run away as fast as you can. I guarantee there will be fees for everything except maybe a lousy buffet.

You bet! There is no free lunch as the saying goes. They will have all kinds of things in the small print that are not included, like taxes, port charges, tips, extra meals and drinks. It is probably a tie in with something else that you will have to buy. |

idk bout complimentary cruises but i just went on a regular cruise with my mom on Carnival and she ended up payin almost $200 at the end. They charge over 50 dollars for a guy to come to your stateroom everyday and clean up, make the bed, bring food if u like, bring fresh towels and make towel animals. And that service is mandatory. also they charge you everytime you use a machine in the casino(on top of what you lose) |

If you drink a lot, look out. Even a Bud draft is about $6 and they don't allow you to bring your own on the ship. |

Yes
Also when taking a cruise you are expected to leave a certain percentage that they tell you in an envelope provided in your room for room service the people that clean up your room and for the waiter that serves your meal at night.
I believe it is so much per day. I cannot remember exactly. Maybe $5.00 a day or more a day.
Which I think it is not fair. It should be up to the individual person. |
