It's the best way to see a lot of places quickly. 4, 5,or 6 different ports of call in 7 days. If you really like somewhere you can always go back and have a week or fortnights holiday there and really explore.
You also have a good time on your floating hotel, great food, great amenities and lots of new people to meet and talk to.
It is a great way to take a holiday.

I have taken seven cruises and I have five more booked. Some of the reasons why are:
1) I don't like being cooped up in a bus all day.
2) I like the idea of unpacking once and packing once. On a cruise, your hotel room travels with you.
3) A cruise is very relaxing. From the moment the muster drill is over until the morning you have to leave the ship, you can set your own schedule.
4) It is great for multi-generational families or groups, because during the day each person can do what they want, then everyone meets for dinner and shares what they did during the day.
5) You get to set your own schedule. You are not stuck with some tour guide's schedule.
6) During one cruise you get to visit several different places, without having to drive or fly. And while the ship is moving, you are either enjoying the activities, enjoying the entertainment, eating or sleeping. You can't do that on a bus or a plane. |

Oh yeah! cool ports of call, buffets anytime of day, room service if you don't want to buffet, dining room if you want to hobnob, gambling, shows, themed bars, what DON'T they have? |

I have taken a cruise. It was exciting, relaxing and awesome. Even saw dolphins along side of the ship...
I would recommend anybody to take a cruise, unless they easily get motion sickness... |
