NO and if it is found they will confiscate it and depending on the cruise line COULD deny you boarding...don't take the chance.
In ports you can purchase liquor - since it's so cheap compared to the US - there is a limit you can bring back duty free....when you reboard it is 'held' by the cruiseline and returned to you when you disembark.
You can purchase drinks on board and all drinks are a flat charge...usually around $4....there are also alcoholic drinks in cabin which you are also charged for. |

No. Sorry. Have fun on your cruise, though! |

No, and if you read your cruise contract it specifically states no and that you can be denied boarding if you try to bring liquor on board. |

The cruise line rules are No, however, there is a time when you can get it on the ship, and that is at the embarkment. Pack it in your luggage that you give to the porters to load onto the ship for you and not take that luggage with you during check-in.
If you are at port and buy it, they check your luggage just like at an airport by running it through X-Ray. When they find it, they take it out of your luggage and hold it for you until the end of the cruise. With Caribben travel lots of alcohol is bought at ports to take back to the US and they are aware of this and do check very carefully when coming back onto the ship from ports. You will notice tables full of alcohol at the check-in area that they are holding until the end of the cruise.
So the simple answer is no, but the true answer is no, but you can get it on at the start of the cruise if you do it right. And keep in mind that isn't guaranteed as if they somehow find it, they will take it out (and yes, they tell you that too, but the truth of the matter is, there is too much luggage at embarkment to go through all of it so they just check if something sets them off to it - don't wrap a case of bottle to clang around in a suitcase as that will set them off). |

I have had friends that got off the ship at ports and carried in a case of beer in plain site and no one said a word about it. I also know people put it in their luggage and get away with it. The most that would happen is they would take it away and give it back the day you get off the ship. |

No but you can do what I did you can sneak a couple of cokes and water in your main bags, I put vodka and tequila in 2 of the water bottles (make sure to put tape around cap to seal them). |

Most lines will allow Wine and Champagne, but no hard liquor. |

No, but if you hide it well you can get away with it. They charge you to serve your own alcohol to you. |

The policies vary from line to line, but yes, in some instances alcohol is allowed on ship (usually wine and/or champagne). Generally hard liquor is not allowed on any line. Check your cruiseline website for specific regulations, or ask your TA, as that will give you a better idea of what you are dealing with. |
