Best Shore Excursions in Cozumel for 6 people....? |
I've been to Cozumel twice before. The first time was a week before Wilma and Rita hit in 2005(eek) and the second was last July 07. In 05 my father and I went on the Jungle Hike and liked that a lot, while my brother and mom went on the Catamaran Snorkeling thing. and in 07 my mom and I cruised by ourselves went to Paradise Beach. Each time we all went shopping.
This year there will be 6 of us. What are some good, affordable excursions we can do? We want beach time and shopping time. And my dad, boyfriend and I love the history stuff. My mom, brother and his girlfriend are more into just sitting around and at the beach the whole time. |

We did the Playa Mia Deluxe Beach Break excursion for 7 people in June.
It a an all beach club with an open bar, buffet, pool, beach chairs, water toys for 1 price. You can purchase massages, para-sailing and time on the jet skis. I highly recommend the massage on the beach. It was awesome.
There are several shops in the front of the beach club.
The excursion was about a half of a day, leaving plenty of time for shopping in the downtown market. |

You should consider going to Channakub park (yes I know I butchered the spelling) It is a beach but also has the small museum and the Mayan replicas. The dune buggy excursions are also a blast but they are a bit pricey. |

I am a travel agent.
I have been to Cozumel a few times. I enjoy their beaches, great scuba diving(and cheaper than many of the ports in the Caribbean), Mayan Ruins, shopping, 4 wheeling, and there are many other options.
I enjoyed getting a moped and beach hopping. It's a straigh shot from the port that is near "Carlos and Charlies" which is also a must see if you like good Mexican food and partying.
