Best all around Cruises?

then my fav. cruise was from royal carribean from the philidelphia port (its better then nyc and bayone is really small). it was because it was a great ship (adventure of the seas) and it had great activities. are you happy now?

The best cruise I took was out of NYC to Bermuda. The cruise had two adn a half days at sea and was docked on the island for 3 and a half days. Most cruises out of the southern ports have maybe one day at sea and then up to 12 hours (usually less) at a port. This gives you an idea what the port is like but not a lot. With the Bermuda cruise, being docked for 3 days, I really got a chance to see what the island was like.

Then the full days at sea were very relaxing and let me enjoy the ship.

Most cruises out of NYC and northern ports have a day or two at sea before they reach the carribbean islands. But most cruises spend very little time in a port - Just enough for an excursion or shopping.

That's why NYC (or Bayonne) to Bermuda was my favorite cruise.

i loved the panama canal cruise. got a lot of information and saw a lot of new places. but think the one around Hawaii was the best. so beautiful and the weather was so great. excursions were informative.

The Norwegian Cruise Line is a very good choice. With their new freestyle cruising motto there is no longer a need to be formal and you can now dress casually. The only time you need to dress formally is evenings in the restaurants. Also, all of their ships offer freestyle crusiing, where you can take your pick of sometimes for than 10 restaurants on board and eat fine cuisine at any one. They also have live entertainment each evening on a nice stage with well known entertainers. Also, during the day, events, seminars, dances, parties and activities are planned so there is no boring time. Nightlife and gambling goes late into the night.

NCL majesty out of boston!!! and goes to bermuda!!! :D its AMMMAZING! Like what the other guy said, except for it leaves from new york. its docks in st george, and STAYS there for three and half days. which lets you explore the island, you dont have to be on the ship at any specific time, just 2 :30 on the day that it leaves... lol omg it was amazing, best cruise ivebeen on yet. the ship isnt all that big..... BUT i mean it has everything you need, your bed, a sweet sundeck , many bars and FOOD which is great on the majesty . plus you can go eat whenever you like hahahah no specific time or anything:)
i really enjoyed this cruise much more than the other ones that are only in port for a couple hours...cause you dont get a chance to see the island the short of time. im only 18 yrs old and been on three two were carnival and this one ncl to bermuda. with out a doubt the best vacation i had and ive been allllllllllllllllllllll over the world. bali and europe etc. i HOPE you pick this one!!! :D or atleast go to bermuda! its awesome! its really expensive though.... eat on the ship . lol

Even if you dont have kids, its a lot of fun. They have separate areas of the boat (and of their private island), for kids only, teens, familys, and adults only. The service was first rate. The food was amazing. And the massages in the spa! I would go there every day if I could.

needless to say, it really all depends on what you are into. different parts of the carribean offer different things. my fav was the ncl dream out of new orleans. it stopped in cancun, cozumel, belize and roatan hondorus. I am a scuba diver so this was a dream route for me. if you more active and into water sports, go western. if you are into laying out on the beach while the old lady shops, go eastern. if you want to hit alot of party spots, do southern. if you just need a quick getaway try bahamas.
