Best cruise line for young adults?

My girlfriends and I are going to go on a cruise in May, but we want to be sure we will have fun. The plan is the Western Caribbean. We are 4 single girls, Ages 22-30, and I want to see if anyone has any ideas for the best cruise lines for our genre?
We want to avoid being on a cruise with a bunch of people a lot older than us, and end up being bored socially. I have heard good things about Carnival, but I just want to get some more opinions.

Thanks!

Well, I don't exactly want skanks, and obnoxious kids... But I don't want to sit on the deck with people knitting, and talking about stock options on my vacation.
Dillema!
Thanks guys :)

I'd go with Carnival. The service and food is mediocre...compared to other lines such as Royal Carib, Princess, Celebrity...but the crowd is younger and I'd say more singles on Carnival. The other lines are primarily marrieds and families. Look and see if any of the cruise lines are offeing a "singles" theme...whatever you do, HAVE FUN!

carnival if you want party, skanks, college frats, etc. Royal Carribean = The more "mature" group.

the best advice... don't go during spring break, fall breaks, christmas, or summer. go in off season. like September.

If you are party girls, i recommmend Carnival.

You will find mostly younger adults wanting to soak up the sun and drink. a few have books, and some like me spend their time in the casino.

There will always be kids, but you won't see that much of the kids on board. The camp carnival, circle c, and club 02 keep the younger ones busy.

there are plenty of bars, shows, games, on board activities ie.. deck party, ice carving, hairy chest contest, survivor, and other things like that.

I have never seen a skank on deck. but of course anyone who gets drunk could become a skank.

A ship is huge. You may never see the same people twice. they hold anywhere from 1800 - 4000 people not including staff.

definitely Carnival for your age group.

I would suggest Carnival because Carnival is more of a young adult, teen thing, and Royal Caribbean is more of a family type of cruise.

Royal Caribbean is a great cruise line for young singles. I've also been on carnival but found royal to be more fun. Their ships are very innovative and they offer a lot of activities like salsa lessons, ice skating lessons, rock climbing. The nightlife is also great. They have a nightclub and multiple lounges so you have lots of places to dance and have fun. I felt their ships were more active and fun to be on.

Well you can enjoy the same on a chartered yacht also. Plus you'll get full privacy on a chartered yacht. Just hire a special occasion yacht in your budget & have fun. May be this can help you http://www.contenderyacht.com/

expecting a boy in june 09!!
sure carnival we planning to go again next year so much fun!

I work with quite a few ladies who have been on cruises. They all recommend Carnival for the younger adult crowd.

They also say that you should request to be seated with younger people, perhaps even single people, at dinner time.

Carnival Cruise lines offer quite a few night clubs on their cruises as well, which might be a good place to find the younger genre.

Have fun!!
