Best cruise ship for younger crowd NCL, Carnival, Royal Caribbean...same price same day/length travel :?

The younger crowd is definitely Carnival or Royal Caribbean.

As far as the ship themselves--they have both recently been renovated top to bottom, they are roughly the same tonnage, length and passenger capacity. And you said the same price as well.

Read reviews on cruise critic.com from people who just got off the ship. For me personally a lot would depend on the itinerary. That's how I pick my ship b/c that's most important to me is to see new and exciting ports of call.

Carnival and Royal are my favorites. Carnival is a bit more casual than Royal. The dining room is a lot more comfortable with people not obeying dress code. Royal has a bit better spa and does a bit more romantic things.

Look over the list of shore excursions too. That might sway you one way or another.

Avoid Norwegian. They are terrible and I don't even want to begin with how many comments you can find on these boards. The average review on Y!A is I did that once and never again. Every element was bad and the only thing that saved it for me was it was my first cruise so I didn't know any better and everyone on the ship kept mentioning how RC and Carnival were 100 times better.

I've done several Carnival and loved them for that time in my life. I started at 21 and am now 27. Now I prefer Royal and my next several cruises are all going to be with them. It's a toss up either way though--you'll have a great time.

Carnival is known as the party boat line, so if your into drinking and partying, that's your line. Not as classy or elegant as the others, but their is more of the younger crowd on that one than any other line. Royal Caribbean is geared more for teens and kids.

I have only been on carnival but the crowd was mostly younger people. We went during May and went to Mexico for 7 days It was a blast and there were many people. Nice weather. Hoping to go again this May.

I would suggest Carnival. I have never been onthat paticular ship but i have been on carnival and royal carribean and carnival is definetly a younger crowd. i hope yo uenjoy your trip
