We are loyal to Royal. Royal has a ship that leaves Los Angeles and goes to Cataline Island, San Diego and Mexico that is really inexpensive. Forget the name of the ship but check out Royals website.

Carnival. Their ship the Paradise leaves from Long Beach and goes down into Mexico. We just recently came back from a 4 day trip. We visited Catalina Island and Ensanda, Mexico. They also have really good prices. Check out their website for more info.

Carnival Pride.
By far!
I have done Princess...Carnival...
Carnival has best ship...friendliest staff..
better food..service..
Princess going downhill.
Holland is also great, if pricing is close.
Less people...
Older crowd. Depends if you are older or not.
Older means 70 and up.
I love Carnival. And I am a snob.
cruise junkie
i have taken all the cruises that carnival takes to mexico and they all were great ..

I am a travel agent and i must say Carnival, there is so much to do and it's so much fun. the only thing that is better on the other cruise line is the food.

It really depends on what you are looking for. I would price out the options, itineraries, length etc. Go from there.
Carnival offers a great product for a great price.
Royal Caribbean is a great product....generally a little more in price than Carnival
I like Princess....but, its atmosphere is not for everyone.
There are others....you need to look at the demographics of its passengers...your age etc.
Good luck,
Dolores
