Hello everyone. I've been researching online a lot lately on cruises and checked out a lot of them. Now, I'm tired of the basic/normal cruises. What are some of the most luxurious ones that you've been on? |

Well I have not been on any of the luxury cruise lines because they cost too much for me right now. But, the luxury cruise lines are:

While cruises on lines like Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Princess and Celebrity will cost about $1,000 for a balcony cabin for 7 days, a cruise on one of the above will be at least twice to three times that amount. BUT, the ships have a much higher standard of service, have passengers who are more reserved, and the ships have more amenities included in the price, like wine with dinner each day. The ships are smaller with about 700 passengers and so you don't have the crowds of the other lines which are now typically 2,000 to 3,000 and more. The cabins are larger and mostly balcony cabins or suites. So basically you get what you pay for. |

The best luxury lines are Crystal, Silversea, Regent Seven Seas, and Seabourn. The next level down in my opinion are that I would recommend are Oceania or Windstar. The initial reviews we have heard on Azamara have not been that great. Holland America and Princess would be the next step down and both deliver a quality cruise on a consistent basis.
