Go to a travel agent and find the cruise that fits your dates and budget.
the TA can find a cruise that suits your needs far quicker than you can.
You don't have to book straight away with the TA, you can get time to think about it.
Once you have the cruise you are happy with, search the internet, the cruise line site first, than any cruise travel site you can find, to see if you can get a better deal. If you can't find anything better than the TA deal, book with them. If you can find a better deal, go back to the TA and see if they'll match it. What you do then is your choice. I prefer a TA as they are usually easier to contact than web based agencies and are more personal.

Two options,..there is one travel search engines that will search out other search engines. You won't have to wounder if you got the right site for the best price. Or, join a travel club.

If you know the specific cruise you want, you could try CruiseCompete.com. Otherwise, you can check out the usual travel websites, such as Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, Kayak, etc. VacationsToGo.com is a very easy site to browse, but if you want to book you need to call them.

Unless you are very familiar with cruising, you might want to let a good travel agent book for you. Prices don't really vary all that much, because the cruise lines limit the discounts, to some degree. A TA can be very helpful and may even get you some "perks".

While many of the sites mentioned could get you a cheap price, you should also consult with a reputable Travel Agent. There are many specials that are not advertised, such as for residents only from certain states, members of the military, senior citizens, even members of a union. A Travel Agent will have access to all of those specials, and also may have group rates which are lower.

Prices can vary depending on the date you pick so it is also good to search with a little flexibility on the dates leaving and the dates returning.
