Booking a cruise/ pricing.. HELP?

I was looking on some cruise websites for an interior state room and the I'm confused on pricing. It says for example "$700- Interior Stateroom" or whatever, is that for the room? or is that the charge per person? Because me and my boyfriend want to go on a cruise. If it says "$700 for an interior room" would we have to pay $1400 for the both of us??? or do we just pay $700, and that covers it all??

I booked a cruise for 900.00 for two people. It sails in less than a month. Sometime it worth waiting for the last min deals.

I would try this site:

http://galaxy.joystar.com and request a cruise quote, There pricing is very good and give you extras sometimes.

Usually there is something that describes what the fare is based on. Usually it is per person based on double occupancy. So, most likely it is $700 per person.

Cruises works just like an airline. When you pay for a seat. it's on a per person basis unless otherwise stated. Some Airlines if not all, allow kids to sit on your lap who is under a certain age. Sorry to say, but yes, it is $700 each. You'll have to dish out that $1400. Remember too that cruise companies often only charge for the "cruise" and other on board needs may require an additional charge. Always read the policies and disclaimers so that you know where you stand as a traveler. This goes for Any mode of transportation.

TINKERTOY ..... the 1 & only
All cabin on all cruise lines are sold based on Double Occupancy and therefore the prices that you see are per person in that cabin.

So if it's $700 for an inside cabin that means $700 per person and the total fare for that cabin will be $1400. When you look at the prices you also need to be aware that some cruise lines advertise their prices without the taxes and port charges included. So that might be $700 plus taxes and fees. If you want to find out what the actual total will be, you can go through the reservation process on line and look at the total for the cabin and cruise that you select and then just cancel or quit the transaction.

In addition, when you book a cruise the price of the cruise includes your cabin, all entertainment on ship, use of the ship's facilities like the pools/hot tubs and the gym, and all meals and most drinks, except you do have to pay for alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. And you must pay a gratuity for the cabin steward, waiters and assistant waiters that amounts to about $10 per person per day.

One final thing. All cruise lines have a minimum age requirement. On Carnival at least one person in each cabin must be at least 25; on the other cruise lines like Royal Caribbean, Princess, Norwegian, at least one person must be at least age 21. I give you that information just in case you are in that age range.

Cruises have different size cabins for 1,2,4 people it depends on the cruise, check out for pricing in http://mytravelmaster.net it's easy and cheap

700.00 is Per Person. so the cruiselines charge for double occupancy, meaning there are 2 in your room. 1400.00 for the room(2people)
also you would have expenses for Port charges and taxes.

also you have to remember about tipping on a cruise. usually its 10.00 per person per day. (that is an automatic gratuity on most lines) so figure that in your budget.(you can also tip the traditional way in envelopes at the end of your cruise, and you could adjust or take off the 10.00per person per cruise automatic tip at the Pursars desk)

Typically cruise prices are for individuals. Also cruise prices have three components:
1. Cruise rate - includes your room and board and entertainment.
2. Port charges
3. Taxes.
Just make sure you know what is included in the agencies quotation. In your example, it sounds like the cruise is $700 per person. Make sure this includes the port charges and taxes.
On a separate note, cruise lines have age limitations. Check with the cruise line before you book.
