Bringing Soft Drinks on a cruise ship??

I know you can't bring alcohol on board, but can you buy soft drinks in the ports and put them in the fridge in your room
(Going on a RC mediterranean cruise have a balcony room in case this makes a difference re: fridge!)

YES !! you can take soft drinks and bottled water on board when you first board the ship and/or at port stops. I regularly take a six-pack of bottled water and a six-pack of soft drinks on all of my cruises with RC and other cruise lines. I have never had a problem with that. I take it on board in my carry-on bag and it goes through the ship's scanner with everything else I have to carry on board. And I have even asked the cabin steward to remove the stuff they have in the refrigerator so I can put mine in there..

Sure you can bring it on board when you go back from a port. have a great time on your cruise.

Its been a few years since I went but we did bring them to avoid being hassled or delayed...however my dad did fill 2 giant listerine bottles full of alcohol lol and brought that...buying drinks is so expensive on cruises! lol You can also get a drink pass...its like a card you pay for and then can get unlimited drinks with (i think) hope you find your answer

Amy
The Carnival cruise I went on last year ... they were letting people bring in entire flats (48ct.) of bottled water. Now, the soda card in Carnival ships are ridiculously expensive, so I don't know about bringing soda's ... but water seemed okay.

You can also pack them in your suitcase and have them checked at the curb. I've gotten a lot of alcohol on board that way. 0:-)

Most cruises will let you get a drinks pass for about $10, unlimited soft drinks abroad the boat. That sounds easier than taking drinks from home

Shari
I do not remember there being a fridge on Royal Caribbean or Carnival.

Yes, you can, but I do believe non-alcoholic drinks are free.
