I've been on Carnival and Holland America cruise lines several times and always use a curling iron. How else would all of the women survive formal night?!?! They always have a beauty salon you can use to have your hair done on those nights. Costs are similar to those in your town. Only thing, if you want your hair done on a formal night, you have to make an appointment the first day you are on the ship because appts. for those nights fill up fast!!!! |

I take my curling iron. Depends on the ship, re if the plugs are in the bathroom or not. |

Yes, you can take a curling iron, blow dryer, just about anything electric. We were on Princess cruise lines and they had plenty of plug in's. Apparently with iron's they worry about them being left on and starting a fire. |
