Can I book a cruise at the san juan cruise ship terminal the day that the ship is leaving?
Like a Royal Caribbean Cruise or a Carnival Cruise. Additional Details I've heard of locals being able to do this out of San Juan. The Cruise companies just want to fill the ship and make whatever money they can... so the price is meant to be significantly less. I'm just not sure if you can still do this or have to provide a local ID.
I'm guessing not - as the cruise company needs to finalise the passenger manifest list by then and forward a copy to all ports of call well in advance of calling those ports.
Its for security/customs purposes.

cant you planjust a little bit ahead? You might be able to but who knows?
TINKERTOY ..... the 1 & only
ABSOLUTELY NOT !!! The cruise lines regulations now require cruise passengers to register their personal information including name, address, passport number, and emergency contact information days before the cruise and all of the information must be completed and made available to the port´s customs and immigration officials at leat 90 minutes before the ship departs the port. Even if you book in advance you must complete this information well in advance of arriving at the port and if you do not do that you will be delayed for check-in at the port until it is done and the cruise line will advise you to arrive at least two hours early to get started on it.
I have been on many cruises, up to about 20 right now, and have NEVER seen a cruise ticket office at the pier at checkin. In addition, most cruises these days sell out all year around completely and therefore there will likely rarely be any deals or vacant cabins on the sail date.

No because now a days most cruises are usually sold out and they require you to give them a lot of information. I just got back from my 2 week cruise and when we got there they asked us for all are cruise information that they sent us.

probably not . if you were able to book on the day the ship leaves it will probably cost you alot of money.
