Can anyone give me an idea of how much it would cost to get my hair & makeup done for formal night on a cruise

My husband and I are going on our first cruise in March and I was wanting to get my hair and makeup done for formal night. I am a stay at home mom and never get to dress up or get pampered so I thought this woudl be a great idea if the cost wasn't outrageous.

Depends on how long your hair is, and which cruise line, but here's a link to a photo of a spa price list from Princess:

They have a hair cut and dry plus makeup package for $99 or $129 for long hair

Hair up-do alone is "from $50", or blow wave "from $39".

Have a wonderful trip!

I went on our honeymoon cruise in November and had my hair done on the cruise. It costs between $40-50 depending on how long your hair is and what you want done to it. They are pretty pricey. The makeup costs more (I cannot remember how much), so I just did that myself. Have fun on your cruise! I can't wait to go again!

My wife had it done on the cruise ship, it was pretty reasonable when she thought about it... but I agree with another answerer, anywhere from $40 to $60 w/o tip.

It is about $40-$60 for hair, and more for makeup. It sort of depends on how long your hair is and what you want done to it. Makeup is about the same, but I have heard that the makeup done their is not worth all of the money, so it is easier to do the makeup yourself. The hair is completley worth it! have a great time!*

Time travler
The first answer was correct, but try to schedule this appointment as soon as you find out when formal night is and you are on the ship. They fill up very quick with many people doing all the same thing. it will cost you a little more then at home, but they are very talented hair dresses on-board the ships. They do great manicures and pedicures too. The massages are fantastic too. You will love cruising. Have a great time.

depends on what salon you choose. have fun and be careful
