Can someone help me get the best deal on this cruise? |
i heard that if you e-mail the cruiseline, saying that you really really would like to cruise with them but just couldnt quite afford it and ask if they had any sort of promotional code for some % off so that they could go, that they would do it b/c they really want you to book them and go on their cruise. anyone had any luck with that? perferrably royal carribean but i will hear any other stories as well. thank you
also, anyone know what is better? to book early, or wait? i heard also that better deals are when you book last minute? is that true?
any websites that you know of that have promotional codes or anything for royal caribean? |

If you know exactly which cruise you want, you could try CruiseCompete.com.
Booking early and booking late each have their advantages and, depending on the time of year and itinerary, you can save money either way. "Last minute" means within 60 days of sailing - and you'll have to pay 100% of the fare at that time.
Prices won't vary all that much from one vendor to another, although different vendors will sweeten the deal with various perks, as will a travel agent. Some people swear by using the cruise line's own website; others prefer various on-line vendors. If you're a first-timer you should use a travel agent. A good website for getting a general idea of what's available [and it's an easy site to use] is VacationsToGo.com. Expedia, Travelocity, Kayak, Orbitz, etc. all have lots of choices. CruCon.com is another well-regarded site. |

wow- never heard of that. Sounds like a lot of work... try this site- it gives you travel agent pricing without the travel agent price and is a Travelocity partner. www.uctwithme.com, click "Book travel" then there's a cruise button.
I would suggest booking early- at least 2 months, in my opinion. |
