Can someone tell me how celebrity cruises?

I'm trying to go on a cruise and found a good deal on celebrity cruises (century) and wanted to know if they are good for young people, meaning fun wise. The service and everything. Tell me anything you know about them. I would truly appreciated it.

Thanks

I went on a cruise on that same ship & loved it. There were alot of other young people when I went but it was a 4day sailing. I was also with a big group of friends so we would've had fun any way. The ship is soooo nice & rooms too. They have a pretty big club when I was there was open till 3am. Also a really cute martini bar. The service is great, when you 1st get on they carry your carry ons & walk you to your cabin. And when you get back from the port & it's super hot they're waiting for you at the pier with a cold drink & cold towel. (little thoughtfull things like that). And the food was better than RCL & Carnival. So you should go. Have fun : )

we went on xenith (several years ago) and Mercury(several years ago) and one of the other ones that I just can't recall.

the ships were very nice , the food was very good. all the ships have some fun things to do.

there have always been younger honeymoons on all the cruises, but not necessarily college groups of young folks.

all the ships i've been on were wonderful

Celebrity Cruises are the more expensive version of Royal Caribbean cruises (they are the same company). I'm sure they have an active night life, but they usually get older people because it's simply more expensive to cruise with them.

If you would like to know specific details about the ship, activities, from people who've actually been, I suggest the following websites. It's the best place on the web for everything cruise related.

http://www.cruisecritic.com
http://boards.cruisecritic.com

For the boards, sign up for an account (takes 2 minutes) then look for CELEBRITY or ROYAL CARIBBEAN cruises and you can post questions and search the boards for previous questions that could be related to the cruise you're looking at.

Celebrity caters to the older crowd. Service on ship is wonderful. Dont worry there will still be some younger people on the cruise

Zef H
Celebrity is geared for more mature and less active people. It does not have as many activities or nightlife as lines that cater to younger more active people, such as Carnival, Royal Caribbean (which owns Celebrity) and Norwegian.

However, the service and food on Celebrity is a step above the service and food you will find on Carnival, Royal Caribbean or Norwegian.

very good cruise line - cater to a mature crowd
