Can two people cruise for the price of one?
My girlfriend and I are wanting to take a cruise for her 20th b-day. We would rather split the cost of one suite and we both stay in that suite. Will cruise lines let you pay for one room (somewhere around $800-900) and both of us stay in there?
The answer is no. A cruise is sold as per person/ double occupancy which mean the price is based on each person with 2 or more per cabin. A single can cruise, but they pay about double. One other thing to know is at least one person must be at least 21 years of age or in some cases 25 years old. I suppose a cruise company may come up with a bargain offer that is like a two for 1, but not likely. Check vacations to go for some of the best prices.

No, but one person can cruise for the cost of two.

Dream on dreamer!
Youre always pays a per person charge and that price is usually based on a double occupance rate. So normaly when youre find a cruise rate youre double it to see the per cabin fare. But keep in mind that some prices not included taxes and port charges and expect to use a bunch off dollars aboard the ship for things like mandatory tiping (usually $10 per day). And its tighter to get on a ship than getting on an airplane theese days. But all in all cruising is good value for the money and great experience. Johan

The price is per person...
I'm not sure how long you're thinking of going for...but my husband and I recently went on cruise for our anniversary and spent about 900.
