First of all do not try to take liquor on board, especially in your carryon luggage. At checkin you luggae goes through a scanner like at the airport (that's part of security) and then when you board you and your carry on go through the same type scanners that the airports use. They will see your liquor bottle and confiscate it; and as is stated in your cruise contract reserve the right to deny you boarding. (So what I do is buy some mini's like they have on planes and pack them with my toiletries, and/or use my flask and pack it with my toiletries.)

You can get drinks almost everywhere on ship, except maybe the gym. On/at the pool deck, lounges, show room, bars, casino there will be people to order a drink from. If you are at the pool or just sunning there will be crew walking around asking if you want to order a drink. Finding a drink will be the very least of your problems.

Many cabins now have mini-refrigerators which have supplies you have to pay for, candy, nuts, sodas, and beer. When you take an item they replace it and charge your cruise tab. Many times you can order a bucket of beer with maybe 5 bottles brought to you in a bucket of ice.

do not bring any alcohol with you this is against the ticket contract, if you are caught they will at least take it, at most they can not let you on with no refund.

as far as on the ship there are plenty of place to buy what you want even poolside. you will have a "sail and sign" card this will be your room key and is linked to an account hooked to a credit/debit card and is how you buy on the ship.

some ship have refrigerators in your room too

Most cruise lines will not allow you to bring your own alcohol on board. Call Carnival and ask if they allow this.

I'm also going on a carnival cruise and asked them. When boarding from the US you are allowed one bottle of wine or champagne. If you want to drink it at a table their is like a $10 charge. there is plenty of booze on board to buy.

there is usually a mini fridge in ur stateroom...there are actually stores where u can buy drinks....but ur not allowed to bring back alchohol from miami to the ship, unless they changed the rules from last summer.....have fun!!

You cannot bring beer on the ship. You can purchase beer on the ship at any of the bars. They will sell you a "bucket" of beer (6 bottles) for the price of 5.
Hard liquor can be purchased in the gift shop - but they will charge you a $15.00 fee if you want to open it and have it in your room. Otherwise, they will bring it to you the last night of the cruise, so you can take it home - they have very good prices on alcohol on the ships.

You can bring one bottle of wine per adult over 21. There is a corkage fee. What I did was get a screw top bottle of red and kept it in my room as it red u can have room temp and do not need to have it uncorked.

Carnival allows each person to bring one bottle of wine on-board. If you consume it at dinner in the dining room there is a fee for corkage. If you consume it in your room or pour it into a glass and carry it up on deck it is okay. I found that port wine kept well and was a nice before dinner drink.
