The answer to your question would be NO. But I have heard of people putting alcohol in empty mouthwash and shampoo bottles and they get by security with no problems.

NurseNancy
You can sneak it on when you go into port. Just get water bottles and fill them with vodka or whatever.

I have been on 12 cruises and going again in June.

I have ALWAYS brought my own booze.

All these people are spouting the company line.

Simple fact -- all you have to do is pack what you want to bring in your checked luggage. I do it every time.

keagkid101
No, you have to buy their alcohol.

Usually, on cruises, you are not allowed to bring alcohol onto the ship, as they want you to buy their over-priced liquor. However, sometimes they will allow you to buy alcohol off the ship, but they make you check it. You are given it when you leave the ship after your cruise is over.

As a general rule of thumb, expect to spend the amount you spent for the entire cruise just on alcohol, as it is not included in the price. Hope that helps.

Nope, you cannot bring alcohol on to your cruise.

BUT, like myself and many other experienced cruises, we all use these:

Smuggle it on instead of spend 100's of dollars on booze!

Good luck and have fun!

Barkley Hound
You can not bring hard liquor onto the ship unless you check in for pickup at the end of the cruise. You can usually bring wine on for use in your room. They charge a fee if you want to have it for dinner.

gone!
Cruise lines look down on bringing your own alcohol on their ships they are in the business to make money so would rather you don't bring it on board with you. They try to be fair and so should passengers. People who can afford a cruise should respect their wishes and don't try to hoodwink the cruise line by sneaking alcohol on board disguised as something else in suit cases. it's sooo! tacky to do that.
