been on 10, always drink the water and have never had any issues at all.....i even live on the wild side and drink on the islands....with ice.....i think there isnt as much water issues as before but you are perfectly safe on the ship...the last thing they want is a ship full of sick people

I've been on Disney Cruise ships and Princess Cruise ships. They have tours of the ship that allow you to see/hear the specifics on how they take sea water and convert it to fresh water for you to shower, brush you teeth, and drink. While they claim the tap water is drinkable on their ships, they also will sell you bottle water for a hefty profit.

Of course you can. It's the same water they use for ice, cooking, and your glass of water at dinner. I was hesitant about drinking it at first until I realized that they weren't going to use that much bottled water to make ice, etc.

Yes, it's actually quite good. If you don't want to drink tap water, they do sell water bottles, but they're very expensive. If you're eating the food and drinking anything else, as well as brushing your teeth and showering, you're probably already taking in the tap water. There's nothing wrong with it, it's safe to drink.

We just got back from a Disney Cruise. Yes you can drink the water. Disney ships process about 500,000 gallons of water a day. I drank it with out any problems.

They do sell bottled water on board if you feel uncertain about it. The water was just as good as ours at home.

Assuming The Ship Has Showers Then Yes, It Will Have A Water Storage System

Yes, you can! Cruise ships have desalination plants on board that eliminate the salt from the water. The showers and sinks will be freshwater. There is a very slight taste of salt in the tap water. It's not enough to complain about but we usually just stick to bottled water on the ship. This has been the case for every cruise ship I've ever sailed on. On the major cruise lines, the water goes through about a half a million gallon treatment plant onboard. It involves purifying and reverse osmosis of the water. It's certainly safe to drink after that!! The swimming pools will be salt water on the ship.
