Can you recommend a cruise line for seeing the Hawaiian Islands?

I am a single mom taking my two kids, ages 8 and 13. Not looking for a honeymoon cruise but lots of adventure opportunities like snorkling, exploring, wildlife viewing. I'm also a cancer patient so want to be pampered some while onboard.

There are lots of cruise line options, but from my personal experiences, I would recommend Royal Caribbean or Disney(if they go to Hawaii)

Royal Caribbean seems a lot more family- children oriented than Carnival. Carnival seemed to have lots of newlyweds and partiers. Royal Caribbean had great kids clubs (if your kids were interested in those) which I highly recommend. It gives them a great chance to meet kids their age, and it also gives you some well- deserved time to yourself.

And of course, R.C. takes care of you very well. Food is excellent. Service is excellent. Everyone is so nice. And they have lots of different options you can do once you get to the islands.

Happy cruising!

i went on a carnival cruise a few years ago and i really enjoyed it

I thought there was a Disney Cruise that went to HI, but I'm wrong. Most of the HI Cruises actually leave from HI. I think it's awesome you're taking your kids on a cruise. That's great of you!

While the other companies referred to in the other answers sail to Hawaii from some other place, there is only one cruise line that sails to all the major islands (7-day cruise): Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL).

The ship is called "Pride of America" and leaves from / returns to Honolulu.

Princess. In fact, in just afew days we are sailing from LA to Hawaii and back. It's a 14 day cruise. I have sailed with Princess 8 times and find them just what the doctor ordered. Great food, best service ever, and lots to do for the kids. Go to princess.com for more info.
