Smoking is allowed in your stateroom, on your balcony, in the casino or Cigar Bar (where available). Also, you can smoke cigarettes, pipes and cigars outside on open decks (just not around food venues, sport decks, kids' pool areas and other designated non-smoking areas). |

Yes, smoking is allowed, but not in the inside public areas. The following is from NCL ...
What about smoking, drinking and gambling on the ship?
We want you to be comfortable on board, so public areas throughout all NCL ships are smoke free. If you smoke cigarettes, you can do so in your stateroom, on your balcony, in the casino or Cigar Bar (where available). If you prefer pipes or cigars, you can smoke in the Cigar Bar or designated smoking lounge. Also, you can smoke cigarettes, pipes and cigars outside on open decks (just not around food venues, sport decks, kids' pool areas and other designated non-smoking areas).

There are no smoke free cruise ships. Carnival tried that with one ship and it did not work out too well. The ship was the Carnival Paradise. While it was based in Florida it was no smoking anywhere on the ship. Now it is based in Los Angeles and smoking is allowed. Here is a picture of the ship from its no smoking days (you can see the no smoking sign on the side of the ship) ...

yeah obliviously smoking in legal on cruise ships, especially in bars and such on the Cruise ship, while all the cabins and hallways are non-smoking, I think you can smoke outside to. |
