Carnival Cruise Advice?

So there are spa services and a hair dresser. Do any of you by chance know what type of services they offer and how much they cost like massages or facials, or hair services?

TINKERTOY ..... the 1 & only
All of the spa services on ships are priced like at resort areas. When you first board the ship you can go to the spa area for a tour and they will have a price listing for all of their services. The massages run from about $80 to about $150 and the difference is because they offer things like "hot rocks" on your back, seaweed wraps, aromatherapy, and a bunch of other stuff with the basic massage.

The Spa services include:
» Massages
» Body Wraps
» Facial Treatments
» Loofah Treatments
» Steam rooms
» Water Therapies
» Thermal Suites

There are so many different options that the best thing to do is get the exact price for what you want when you get on ship. But here's a listing of the different massage options: http://www.carnivalcruiselines.com/CMS/FAQs/Spa_Carnival_Spa_Rituals.aspx

The hair services include:

» Hair Cutting & Coloring
» Eye Brow Shaping
» Waxing
» Manicures
» Pedicures
» Facial Treatments
» Grooming for Men

So the cost will be about 20% more than you pay at home and then they also expect a gratuity to be added to your bill.

Oh, and you will get the best deals on spa services if you wait for the specials that will be run while the ship is in port and on the last day of the cruise.

They are like anywhere else.
They are not cheap.
Like $80-$100 hour massages.

The website should include all of this info. Have fun!

I felt like the spa services were pretty pricey. The only thing I did in the spa was get a $65 pedicure. After that I didn't think I wanted to spend the money on anything else. I was tempted to do the teeth whitening.
