Carnival Cruise Experiences? |
I'm thinking about booking a Carnival Cruise for 7 days and 6 nights to the Carribean. I'm bringing my two kids who are 14 and 10, and I want to know if anyone has been on one of these cruises and their experience. Do you think it will be kid friendly? Is the service good? Etc. Also, if you can tell me some special features that would be great, thanks! |

You will feel like a King for that week on the Cruise.
Your family will have a blast and you guys will go back in next year.
I personal like Royal Caribbean but for your first Cruise Carnival is good.

It is awesome! you will be treated like a king for 7 days and your kids will love it they can do there own thing which I really enjoyed and they have clubs for your kids so they can meet other kids there age. The food is great and free, the staff is very friendly and very helpful the only bad thing is your cruise ending. |

Carnival is the ultimate family cruise line. The kids club is great, and each ship has a waterslide on it, some of them even have multiple slides and a splash pad. The service is good, but watch out because you'll be expected to tip. Enjoy your vacation. |

We cruised last summer with a 16, 15, 13 year old. They had a good time, there is usually always something to do. You will of course hear the 'I'm Bored' at some point but no vacation is without that. Service is excellent and at that age they can be 'set free' and will be safe. They will probably find new friends as there are alot of kids on these cruises. |

I think Carnival's service is much poorer than other lines.
I would recommend another line for just a very slight more amount of money (maybe $25-50 per person). |

If the low prices are what has attracted you to Carnival then may I offer a alternative option? I much prefer Costa over Carnival. The rates are comparable!
Here are the differences:
Carnival ships are older with lots of fake wood paneling, worn out carpets and yellow-tinted glass. Their super low prices attract "springer breaker" types.
Costa is great value with brand new boats, higher end, refined clientele and certainly more family oriented than drunkards banging their fists on the table at dinner ever night, chanting "LETS GO HOGGIES, LETS GET!!!" Over and over again until someone falls back off his chair while vomiting. |
