Carnival Cruise Lines sailing dates?

I'm planning a senior trip in May/June 2010 to the Eastern Caribbean. When I click June 2010 as my departure date, I only get two ports before I set my destination--Baltimore, MD and New York, NY. The list of dates on their website goes all the way down to November 2010 but there aren't many choices. When will Carnival release more cruise dates/ports?

It's just too far out. Usually about a year in advance more go up. No one usually books that far out without using a travel agent. They often have more. But between 1 year out and 9 months they will put up far more choices. I honestly think they just don't know which ships will be in what ports yet, or who will be raising their port fees making the cruise more expensive.

You'll go out of Port Canaveral, or Miami/Ft Lauderdale. Miami and Ft Lauderdale are different ports but only about a 20 min cab ride apart.

Whoever said they don't do Caribbean cruises when all the colleges and schools get out is just picking on you. May/June is prime cruising season.

It will be difficult to find cruises going to the Caribbean in May/June as most cruise lines have "repositioned" to Europe, Alaska etc. for the summer cruise season. When I looked at Carnival I found several cruises leaving from Miami, FL (if you're cruising the Caribbean, you almost always have to leave from Tampa, Miami or Ft. Lauderdale; or Galveston, TX and a few leave from New Orleans). There's one to the Western Caribbean that leaves May 31. Finally, are you a senior in High School or University? Cruise lines have age restrictions; for Carnival you (and everyone in your party) must be 21 by the sailing date unless accompanied in your stateroom with an adult over 25. Hope this helps.

Actually, I just checked back with Carnival, and they have two cruises leaving from Baltimore in June 2010, one on the 7th and the other on the 20th. 7 days in the Eastern Caribbean.

They are posted now..Try looking again! have fun.

When booking your senior trip with Carnival, keep in mind the minimum age requirement for sailing. This age requirement applies not only to Carnival, but to ALL cruise lines.

Guests are required to be 21 years old (on embarkation day) to travel. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom by a parent or guardian 25 or older. The exceptions Carnival will make to this policy are:

Married minor couple - The booking must be documented that the couple is married. The couple must have proof of marriage at embarkation or they will be denied boarding without the benefit of a refund.

Domestic Partners/Same-Sex Union minor couple - The booking must be documented that the couple are legal Domestic Partners/Same-Sex Union. The couple must have legal proof of partnership/union at embarkation or they will be denied boarding without the benefit of a refund.

Guest ages will be verified at embarkation. Guests not conforming to this policy will be denied boarding and assessed a 100% cancellation penalty. NO exceptions will be made at embarkation.
