Carnival Cruise Question? |
Looking to see if anyone has been on a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas? What shore excursion are the best? We sail in May on the Pride from Baltimore MD.

I always book all of my excursions at www.shoretrips.com I know that when we went to the bahamas we did book with the cruise line because my group wanted a party cruise. We booked the yellow bird. It was not that good. I would not suggest that. It really depends on what you want to do. Check out the website I provided. They are really easy to work with and they have a variety of things to pick from. Not as much for Bahamas. You can look at carnival.com and when you sign in you can see prices for the excursions that they offer. There is also a description. If you are into shopping it is right where you get off of the ship in Nassau, but I would get as far from that area as you can if you do not want to shop. It is a very crowded area. You might consider snorkeling. Have fun on your cruise. |

Haven't been on a carnival cruise to the bahamas, but by far the best thing to do in Nassau is to book a room at the comfort suites (not sure if this is the right hotel) on Paradise Island, when you get to the port, grab a taxi and then go over to the hotel. Once you check in, you get access to the Atlantis resort pools which are extremely nice. I am 99% sure you cant do this through a ship excursion. |

I am the owner of a travel business and I can tell you without hesitation, Carnival is one of "thee" best cruise lines for a Bahamas cruise.

Your choices in excursions are many, and would depend on where you want to go. Go to GOOGLE and type in:
Digg - Cruise Ships and Cruise Excursions and that should take you to some video footage, that may help you to decide. (as you can see, Carnival Cruise Lines is given lots of praise here, too).
