I prefer Carnival, mostly because of the cost. I am paying for 4 people. I was next to the Freedom of the Seas in Grand Caymen last year, and it was an impressive ship, but I still come back to price. I have been on several Carnival cruises, and have not been disappointed yet. |

If price is no object I pick the Freedom of the Seas or her sister ship the Liberty of the Seas over the Carnival Freedom. They are just better ships. The itinerarys are different. |

Freedom of the Seas, Royal Caribbean is the best cruise ship EVER! Go on that one because they have many onboard activities and the food and service is great! Have fun! |

Freedom of the seas, royal caribbean has a lot more onboard activities than carnival. Plus this is one of the newer ships. |

I'm about to give Freedom of the Seas a try. Typically, I don't like the giant ships, but the itinerary works for us. I've been on one Carnival ship (Carnival Spirit) and it was nice experience.
As long as you like the big cruise ship experience, you'll probably like either ship. |
