Well most of the carnival ships all have similar programs and activities for teens, so the specific ship isn't really important. But I highly recomend that teens attend the teen club, "Club O2" (for 15-17 year olds) while onboard. I did, and it was the best spring break of my life so far. There are also programs for all other age groups.

The most important thing is to make sure you cruise durring spring break or summer, when alot of teens are onboard.

Well I know Carnival's Ship, Paradise was pretty nice.
Although it isn't one of their bigger ships, it is rated one of the best, and I must agree. I loved it. As far I know, that one only goes out to Esenada and back. It's about a four day trip. It wasn't bad. I would totally recommend it! My bff and I loved it! It was amazing. They've also got a teen dance club too! Oh and the entertainment at night, like the stand up comedy was great! It was hilarious, we couldn't stop laughing. :]

& My parents went on the Carnival Pride, which goes down to the Mexican Riviera and they really enjoyed that one. They said that ship is HUGE! But as far as things for teens I really have no idea cause I didn't go. >.<
But you can check out the ships on their website.

the Liberty is one of the newest.
but I think Triumph has a great itinerary.
Picking the right ship is not necessarly as important as picking the right time to go
Sweet Vacations can help you pick a good cruise and they always have the best prices

Carnival Legend is a very fun ship for teens.
Im 15, and there was around 200 teens around the teen club.

The newest Carnival ships are:

Carnival Liberty - July 2005
Carnival Freedom - February 2007
Carnival Splendor - July 2008

Currently the Liberty and Freedom are tied for the biggest Carnival ship (along with the Conquest, Glory and Valor). When it comes out, the Carnival Splendor will be the biggest.

These three ships are also probably the best Carnival ships for teens, as these three ships have club O2 for older teens (15-17) and Circle C for younger teens (12 - 14).
