Carnival vs. Royal Caribbean? |
Which cruise is better? cuz im getting a deal for 4 nights to the Bahamas, Royal Caribbeans Sovereign of the Seas is $229 per person, or Carnival Sensation is $289. which one is better from your experience? and do the activities in Royal Caribbean cost money? about how much? i cruised with Carnival once before, and i loved their food. but i don't remember what Carnival had on board, like their activities. thanks. BEST ANSWER REWARDED!

oh...and im 13 and i have an older brother but hes a teen too. i'll be cruising with my parents, and the difference will be about $240 in all, for the two cruises. |

I've been on both and found royal caribbean to be better. They have lots of activities like ice skating lessons, salsa lessons, keyboard lessons, etc which did not cost extra. Carnival had bingo which cost extra and free port shopping classes. |

My wife and I have sailed on Sovereign of the Seas on 3 separate occasions and have enjoyed it every time. It is an older ship (built in 1988) but was recently refurbished about 2 years ago. It is very well maintained. All meals, entertainment, and onboard activities are included. The only things that cost extra are alcoholic drinks, the specialty dining rooms, souveniers, and shore excursions. We have sailed with Royal 4 times, Carnival 1 time, and Princess 1 time. We love cruising and Royal Caribbean is our cruiseline of choice. Bon Voyage! |

We have only travelled with RCI ,they cater for all ages ..There are activities geared for all ages ,children and teens will not be bored.The ships are the largest in world and have activities such as rockclimbing,golf,surfrider on the freedomships etc. |
