Cruises are wonderful. They are extremely relaxing and very romantic. It is my favorite way to travel. The biggest advantage to a cruise is that you get to go to several places during the trip. But, that is also a disadvantage. If you are wanting to spend your vacation in one area, say the Bahamas, a cruise may not be right for you. You only get to spend a short amount of time on the islands. But, it is still fun and you get to see several places.

If you get a nice, new ship, you will be really impressed. The ships are luxurious and glamarous. Compared to what you would pay on land for the same type feel, it would be a lot more. The food is also pretty good, considering you are on a cruise ship.

I don't think cruising is really boring. Some of the older ships don't have as much to do, smaller etc. But, the newer ships are like floating cities and there is always something to do. Some people find the ships to be boring after going on the same cruise a few times, but each person is different. I personally like longer cruises, the longer the better. I'm not a fan of short cruises, 3 or 4 days just doesn't let you get the whole experience. I think that a week is the perfect amount of time. I feel with a 3 and 4 day cruise, you get on and then you get off, there just isn't enough time. These are better if you want to "test" the waters to see how you like it. But, I don't feel 3 days is long enough for any type of vacation ;-)

Cost just depends on what you do. Certain destinations may be more expensive, certain ships may be more expensive. Carnival is the least expensive line, and then it goes up from there. I am not a big fan of Carnival, I would prefer Royal Caribbean, but there are some really great lines, it just depends what you are looking for. Most cruise lines include the food (most of it anyway) sometimes there are nicer places you can eat that has a surcharge that is extra. Usually around $5 to $20 depending on the line. Most lines do not include sodas, there are a few that do. But, most offer a soda fountain package you can get that will help with the costs, over buying each drink seperate. Alcoholic beverages are not included. As far as the spa, this is also an extra charge. The packages are usually pretty costly, but well worth it. Something you may consider would be a romance package (may be called something different on different lines) but it an extra package that can be added on to the cruise. Prices range depending on the line, length of cruise, etc. But they generally have a spa treatment included, some champagne, etc.

You should consider contacting a travel agent that specializes in cruises. You will find that the service and knowledge is really helpful while planning your special vacation. Prices are usually the same as the cruise line and in some cases they will be less. Either way, the service and knowledge can proove to be possible. I've had countless trips that have been unforgetable thanks to my travel agent!

yes they are soo fun :D ive been on one before and there are a lot of things to do. you pay for everything all together including the food and drinks before you go on it so like once your on it you can eat all you want because you already payed for the food and everything in advance. i suggest you go on one..they are a lot of fun.

My family just went on a cruise in March and we had the time of our lives! We went on Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas. It's the largest cruise ship that's sailing right now and it definitely has a TON of things to do! Food was included (and they had a terrific menu) and that was about it. We had to buy a drink card to get soda and there's a seperate one for beer and wine. Cocktails and things from the bar are seperate. My mom and I had a massage at the spa and they was amazing! And the ship basically never sleeps. There's a casino, a night club, multiple bars and resturants, shopping, and parties. If you don't like being bored I highly recommend this cruise ship!!!

sail on a ship that has plenty of ports of call and you'll be fine --
if this is your honeymoon you should not find any BORING moments. I don't think i'd see much of anything if it were my honeymoon, i'd be too busy (ha ha)

Carribean cruises are wonderful. I have been on two as a passenger and I worked for a cruiseline for 3 months one summer. I would definitely recommend Carnival if you want "fun." I like the Imagination, but Celebrity is nice and they usually have shorter trips. They have eastern and western Caribbean trips. The east gets hit more often by hurricanes and if there is a hurricane, they go out to sea anyway. I like Jamaicca, Cozumel and Grand Cayman. Lots of things to do on board and on land. Norwegian is also very nice if you are athletic and enjoy golfing or yoga and like to keep fit while you are on your trip. My ship was the SS Seabreeze and it was a classic cruiser. We were more family driven with Hanna Berbera classics like the Flinstones. You might want to check with a travel agent. They have some magnificient deals depending on when you are going and out of which port. But, boring, no...never boring. There is just too much to do. Lots of on board Itinerary and shore excursions. Bring all kinds of clothes. Informal, formal, dance, sexy, jeans. I horseback road in the beach while in Cozumel. Went to Aztec ruins. Dove and snorkeled. Learned about ridley turles and have a new respect for stingrays. Fed fish. You are going to have so much fun. You'll remember it forever. OH and as far as seasickness, eat green apples. The sweet sour is the key! Dont do dramamine or you will be drowsy. Alcohol is sometimes included if it is the Captains birthday or the initial voyage or since you are honeymooners who'll get a complimentary bottle of champaigne. The big money goes to excursions. Just do one per island and then, go to the beach alot and explore.

go for 6-8 nights. they dont get bored easly. a cruise 4 a honeymoon is a great idea. they r really fun n most of the food is free along with all of room service. the alchohol n soda cost extra but u can get a ssoda/juice pass for an afordable rate if u thienk u will drink a lot. the spa is cheaper then it is on land and sometimes have specials and cupons. a cruise is an adicting vaca.

Go for a cruise that is geared to younger people. A travel agent can recommend which line to take. I loved Holland American, but was not pleased with the Norwegian Line. However, I would not rec commend either of those for a honeymoon.

Try Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, but the best answer is a travel agent because she can get discounts you can not get by yourself. You will never get bored on a cruise ship because there is always something to do in addition to Caribbean ports, beaches and shopping.

Royal Caribbean is the nicest line for the money in my opinion. Clean and good service. You won't get bored because there will always be something to do. Food is included - probably why if you are not careful, you may come home with your clothes fitting a little more snug than when you left (lol).

One suggestion for sure: If you can afford it, get a balcony suit. Since it's the honeymoon, you'll be spending plenty of time in the room (*wink*). There is something extra nice about sitting out and looking at the ocean from the balcony of your room.

I cruise every year on Royal Caribbean and can never imagine getting bored. In fact, I'm usually bummed because I didn't have time to do everything I wanted to do on the ships. The Voyager class ships have a mall, casino, movie theater, ice rink, roller blading, rock climbing, night club, cigar bar, English pub, ice cream parlor, etc etc etc. It's like a small city where everything there is meant for your entertainment. As for additional costs, I never think the spa prices are worth it. However, for a honeymoon, it might be worth it to do the couples massage. Drinks and shore excursions are the only other things you'll pay for. You can easily track your spending on the TV in your cabin so there's no surprise at the end. Have a great trip!

It is sooo much fun. I loved the cruise we went. I think it was called the royal carribean. The dinner was great and so were the drinks. I would definately recommend going. You and your new husband will have a blast!!

Depends on where you go. I'm not a fan of the Alaskan cruises. But the Caribbean ones are usually AWESOME. Been on 3 day, 7 day and 13 day cruises and they all were great. NEVER booring. :) GO!! Have fun!

I took a cruise on Carnival - the apparent "fun ship" but to be honest, I was completely bored. Tonnes of food, but if you want to drink - be prepared to be broke. One night I splurged on 4 drinks - rum & coke @ $7US each! Crazy. The only thing I like about cruising is that you get to 'see' differnt countries but once you get there you have to bust your *** to 'experience' them in the 8hrs. or so that you have. If you get sea sick at all, not a good idea. Getting off the ship is worse - felt like I was still rocking back and forth the entire week back at work! I'd go to an all-inclusive resort if I were you...Jamaica ;)
