Crown Princess vs. Carnival Freedom?

Okay, so I am going on an Eastern Caribbean cruise on spring break, and I need to know which cruise you liked the best. We have narrowed it down to either the Crown Princess or the Carnival Freedom. Teens that have gone on either, what are the on-board activities like?

We have been on 3 Carnival cruises and one with Princess. We are going back to Carnival for the next one. We liked Princess' Lido Deck a little better. They had fresh water in the pool. Carnival has soft ice cream machines available 24 hours a day. Princess sells you the ice cream at a place called Scoops. Carnival does not charge extra for juices, Princess does. Carnival puts towel animals in the rooms each night, Princess didn't. Carnival's evening dining room staff does cool dances each night. Princess didn't do anything like that. I also thought the beds on Carnival were much better. They are known to be at least as good as Sleep Number beds. We also thought the rooms were a little bigger with Carnival. Carnival provides more toiletries than Princess. They are both very good. It depends what you like. Princess has no water slide, but they do have MUTS - Movies Under The Stars. Princess has afternoon cookies and milk on the Lido Deck.

You can read about these two ships by going to CruiseCritic.com and clicking on "Reviews", then "Member Reviews". You might also want to check out the "Boards" section and the boards for these two cruise lines, as well as the "Teens" section, etc. "Cruise Styles", also at the top of the home page, describes the various cruise lines/ships and the various demographics to which they appeal, e.g. "Families", etc.

Carnival cruises will have a younger crowd. I think that will be better for you and you'll save a couple bucks as well.

i have always enjoyed my cruises on princess cruise lines. Teens might
enjoy the carnival "fun Ships" as they have a younger client base

try the site cruisecritic.com for info on cruising and both your ships.
