Cruise Activity Question? |
I know there's a lot to do on Carnival Cruises. However, my husband does not want to be fused at the hip and wants to only meet up for meals and the rest of the time we're on our own. What kinds of things can I do by myself that won't make me wish I'd stayed home? LOL... |

On the ship: Pool, fitness center, spa, shopping center, bar, casino, shows, movies, special events (art auction, wine tasting etc), 24/7 food, or just hang in your room and chill. There are also activities that are specific to each ship or cruise line such as ice skating, rock climbing wall, etc. Everyday you should get a schedule in your mail slot that tells of the special events that are going on that day.
Off the ship, sign up for excursions so you can explore the area or do really great activities.
There is so much stuff to do on a ship. My father enjoys siting on the deck and people watching. My mother enjoys all the shows. My friends enjoy the dance clubs and the bars. I just enjoy having 7 days of worry-free relaxation. And unlimited ice cream. |

You have the pools, the casino, and the clubs many fantastic shows, even comedian shows, parties, and you have gyms and like on the deck you have the ping pong table

I went on a carnival cruise with a guy, and we did most things separately while on the ship.
I would go to the gym or sit in the sauna. Went to the spa to pamper myself (with his $ of course) a few times. Relaxed out on the serenity deck and worked on my tan while I read and listened to my ipod. Chatted with other women doing the same thing. It was actually really nice not to have a guy around for all those things since they dont like it. He was off at the casino watch some contests stuff like that.
Being there just hanging out and relaxing in that atmosphere can never be boring so many different kinds of people to get to know or just watch, so many things you dont see often to look at, and being out in that beautiful vast ocean is just so peaceful.
They give you a booklet each night of the next days activities so you wont need to wander about looking for something to do. I'm sure you will find many options there. Have fun! |

My wife would take out her frustrations on her credit card. There is stuff to do on the ship but it would be a shame if you didn't go on some tours even if it were by yourself. |
