You will not get a quote right away, it may take a few days, but nothing more than 3 days. What you have to do is put in the information that you're looking for in a cruise, and your email address, and cruise compete will send you quote by quote of the cruise and will give you the best deal. Certain quotes will direct you to a travel agent(free) who will help you in booking your cruise. Other quotes will transfer you to a website like vacationstogo.com. They will send you several quotes and then you have to decide which on is the cheapest. Some of them come with onboard credit, so you may want to keep an eye out for thoses quotes.

try http://www.greatratestravelservice.com/ this is a great travel agent that gets good feedback from a lot of her customers. she's nice and she takes the prices down by a hundred dollars or so. this person has better prices then vacationstogo.com and you don't have to call to book the cruise. she won't make calls to you unless she promised to call you so you don't have to worry about her bugging you. i have her numbers as well:

Go to the cruise line web sites, they have their specials posted or with a link to them. I have found that Carnival and Royal Caribbean, along with Norwegian, do the best job of listing specials. RC's specials will be listed in red as "hot sails, or "special pricing".

carnival.com...and sometimes if you talk to an agent you can get a better rate. just don't give them your phone number or they'll call you all the effing time.

I've found that cruisesonly.com is a pretty good site to find deals on cruises I'm dom't know when you want to go but I want to go to bahama and I have been pricing But I found a cruise to bahama and florida as cheap as 399 per person
