Cruise Liner Question?

Does passengers traveling 3rd class on today's cruise liners have access to the entire ship? OR is it like how it was on the Titanic where as there were limitations?

Almost all ships are class-free in that no areas are off limits based upon what cabin category you occupy. There are differences on Cunard ships (QE2, Victoria, QM2) in which dining room one uses, and that is based on cabin category -- the more expensive, large, and fancy the cabin, the nicer the dining room and menu. Other differences may be found as well on almost all ships, but that is based upon how many cruises one has taken on the cruise line -- special cocktail parties, etc.

You will have access to the entire ship as do all other passengers. Your first cruise you will not receive an invite to any cocktail parties but on your second cruise on they will throw special cocktail parties for past cruisers. On carnival if you've cruised 9 or more times you no longer have to wait in lines to get on and off the ship. It makes life alot more enjoyable.

not really 3rd class.

there are not the "classes" like there used to be in "titanics" time.

No, it's not like the Titanic where you can only go to certain parts of the ship, everybody is treated the same, being allowed to visit all parts of the ship as everyone else. Certain VIP members will be allowed to go "behind the scenes", but everyone is allowed all over the ship.

Hope this helps!

Rebecca
There is no third class. Everyone can basically go everywhere, unless they are part of a special club for past cruisers or have a suite of any kind.

Everyone is treated the same, there are no classes per say-- unless you have a penthouse and then you do get VIP treatment.
