Cruise Ships?

I am planning to take a trip to Florida sometime in July, and was wondering which cruise line to take. I've looked online and found a few good ones, but not ones that have customer reviews or anything. If any one has been on a cruise and would like to reccomend one, please do so? Thank you so much!

Well, what I'd recommend really depends on what matters to YOU. =)

This guide to choosing a cruise lays out some of the differences (which lines are more formal, which have what type of service, how to get the most for your money, etc):
http://www.cruisesavvy.com/savvyguide/choosing_your_cruise

And in the meantime, here's a high-level overview:

CARNIVAL has the best nightlife and is generally a really great, fun time. The food and service are very good, but the atmosphere can focus more on "fun" than on being "polished"

RCI is more polished. Their newer ships (Voyager or Freedom class) because have lots of interesting facilities -- ice skating rink, rock wall, surfing simulator, water park. Nightlife isn't so hot, though. And drinks are more expensive than on Carnival or Princess.

PRINCESS is as good compromise option: better nightlife than RCI and more polished than Carnival. Their larger, newer ships (like Caribbean Princess) have more pools and a really great nightclub suspended over the back of the ship. There's a Cruise Journal about Caribbean Princess here:
http://www.cruisesavvy.com/journals

NCL is still getting their act together. They just announced they're spending $1Bn over the next couple of years on upgrades, but right now I'm not a fan.

Celebrity is more expensive and generally an older crowd, but more refined than the others. Great reputation for outstanding food.

Holland America Line is similar to Celebrity but arguably more refined and traditional ... but they don't have ships in the Caribbean in the summer.

Hope that helps!

I have been on a Princess Cruise and it was fantastic. My sister has gone carnival, and she had a blast, they are known as the FUN ships. I have heard that norwegian are very nice also.

The best website to answer all ur cruise questions is definetely cruisecritic.com.....just go to reviews and u can read tons of reviews from actually cruisers.....i think ur best bet is to research the ports of calls first....if one of them really spark your interest start researching thru cruisecritic....this is what i did and it worked out great.....sometimes you just need somewhere to start and the ports of call is one of the best ways!! good luck and HAPPY CRUISIN!!!!

Time travler
I also LOVE Princess cruise lines. I have been on * cruises with Princess and have never had any disappointments or troubles, NEVER!

Cruising out of Florida. Go with Carnival. Their rates are great as well. They also offer a Military and Senior discount.
They were great to us and friends we have just got back from a trip to Mexico and back. Prepare to be spoiled. We found our cruise on the website we do all our ticket and travel booking.

If you are a smoker you will have fun.. if you are a non-smoker and offended by cigarette smoke... it will be HELL because you can never get away from the smoke.
