That is my favorite cruise. I've done that one and plan to do the exact same cruise again. Cozumel is my favorite island--there is so much to do there. The shore excursions are great. I went snorkeling and kayaking but you could have just wandered around the town if you preferred. Great shopping. Gorgeous water and you could easily just walk right off the beach to have great snorkeling--you don't specifically need to go anywhere but you could have a cab take you to the National Park for just a few bucks.

Same with Belize. Beautiful and I loved it. There were several shore excursions I really wanted to do there. We went to the Mayan ruins and if you have never been to a Mayan ruin, Xunantunich is a great one. Very well preserved, not like some of them. Next time I plan on doing the river tubing/caving one though. However Belize is very poor. I definitely do not recommend just wandering around the town. You will not enjoy yourself. Trips into the rain forest are amazing though.

Grand Cayman I was not impressed with. It looked like America with all the KFCs, Pizza Huts and Burger Kings. However I haven't been there since it was wiped clean by that hurricane. I went to Sting Ray City and loved it.

Costa Maya is a fake port. Built by the cruise companies like their "own private islands". So its got performers, and hammocks, stuff like that. To be honest the day I was there it was so outrageously hot that I went back on board the ship. I spent most of the day laying out by the pool (its a lot cooler on the upper decks) and as only about 10 of us were by the pool, I basically had my own private waiter.

They are fabulous! I've been to all except Costa Maya. In Grand Cayman, you must swim with the stingrays at StingRay City.....awesome experience. In Belize, the cave tubing is a lot of fun. Cozumel has great snorkeling and/or diving. There are tons of fun things to do in all these ports.

The Grand Cayman is extremely American-ized. Stingray City is an absolute must though.
Someone above said that the tenders back to the boat are really not fun to take because of the lines. This is very true, so try to get to the tender line early.
We went to Stingray City for the earliest tour they had, hit a few shops, and went right back to the boat.

My third cruise went to exactly those ports but not in that order. I had the time of my life. I agree with Emmy.

Costa Maya was a little fishing town, and the cruise line came in and place the pool, the restaurants, and shops right where they wanted them. I never went into the little town,, but it was o.k Take a tour or you will be on and off the boat in a couple of hours.

Cozumel is wonderful.. a lot to do,,nice people.
Belize.. I heard is really dirty in the city area,, I took an excursion and loved it.

Grand Cayman is just wonderful too,, it is clean, and the excursions are fun.. I don't like to have to take a tender boat from the cruise ship to the Island.. When it is time to board the ship,, you have to wait in this long line, because we are all wanting back on at the same time,,, unlike in the a.m. when we unloaded..we were all getting off at different times... well, that is if u weren't taking an excurstion,,,

have a great time,, u won't be sorry,, ,
