Cruise for Sweet 16 in December??
I'm turning 16 December 1. At first I wanted to have a big bash, but then I thought it sounded kind of stupid to spend a lot of money on one night. I've been thinkng of going on a trip with a few friends, and I think a cruise would be the best bet. I've never been on a cruise, and I've never traveled the caribbean or hawaii or anything tropical like that.
So, where's the best place to go??

Also, I've been wondering about pay.... I want to invite at least 3 friends, but I think that might be too expensive for the cruise and the air fare. Do I ask them to pay air fare, or do I just tell my parents we have to pay for all??
By the way I live In San Francisco, so I would want to depart from LA or something.
You must be at least 21 to go on a cruise by yourself. So your parents will need to go with you. You also need to get a passport because most if not all cruise lines now require you to have them.

ask your question on one of the message boards (carnival board is great and carnival cruises are great for younger ages) i can't tell you that you must have an adult in the room.

i would go to the carnival cruise line to find a great cruise also in stead of having them get you a gift ,let them buy a ticket unless you can pay for it your self , for a 16yrs old there are a lot of things for just your age group ,so parents can go have fun while your at your clubs why dont you see if maybe your friends and there family get togather and all go maybe you mite get a group discount hope you have a great sweet 16

there are some very cheep carnival cruises out of LA. (less than 300$ per person). I do believe that there must be at least 1 adult per room (I think they have to be over 21 or 25 not sure). Anywhere you go on a cruise ship is going to be fun.
