Cruise... i'm 14 years old. What to expect and how to meet people.?

Most of the teens go at night. You have to be in the 12-14 group if you want to be in a group. You might want to bring something semi-formal b/c the boats usually have night dinner things.

well ived nv been on a royal carribean cruise but i kno all cruises are fun (im more of a carnival cruise person) you can expect that the first night there will be a party with your age group so u can make friends right away. if u want the truth of wat to expect the ppl u meet that first day might not be the ppl u hang out with for the rest of the duration because you dont kno everyone's personality yet but there is always someone for u to hang out with no matter wat. unless your birthday is around a month away you cant go ahead to the 15-17 age group. oh n the guys are cute!!!

Yes the teen things are very fun for teens. I didn't see my daughter almost the whole time we were on the ship. You should go to the one that is you age. The older groups do things your not interested in, but if you dont like the first on try the second one. My daughter especially liked the teen dances and other fun activity. Visit the website and see what they have. She had made a lots of friends that she still talks to

sty in ur own group well actually u have to. i was worried bout the same thing i just went on the carnival destiny over christmas break im also 14 but im a guy i had alot of fun and as long as ur hot u will have no problem makin friends have fun i have thought bout the cruise everyday since i got off the boat

Just be your self, you will appear confident if you introduce yourself, tell them your name ask them theirs, you can ask about their experiences on cruse lines, what type of school they go to what subjects they are taking, what they hope to do once left school, the amount of small talk is endless, but you have to get passed that to start talking about the interesting things. If you are friendly then people just cant help but respond. People must go to the teen groups or they would not have them. Wear what makes you feel good. Sometimes cruse ships have theme nights where you dress in a certain way, check out with your cruise liner to see if this is the case.
If you are 14 go to that group, but if you are nearly 15 you might be able to squeeze in with that group, when you get there ask the difference between the two groups, that will help you to decide.

Go to the cruise shops web site and check out the amenities of the ship (teen lounges?) and also go to CruiseCritic.com and look for "Reviews"/"Member Reviews". Read lots of reviews and I'm sure you'll find a parent who wrote about his.her teenager.
