Cruise information????

I'm about to go on a carnival cruise with my family. I would like to know Which cabin would be less rocky because my 70 year old grandma is also going. Would ocean view be ok?

Center on the ship should be least rocky. I had a window in my room and looking out it while the ship was moving bothered me. Made me dizzy so I always had the curtain shut. :)

Ocean view would be great. Its not too small and not too big. It has a nice view of the water and it has a nice living room area.

If you dont mind not having a window than an interior stateroom would be fine although if you dont like small spaces then that wouldnt be good. You can also get connecting staterooms for a family like yours.

Also the balcony stateroom is almost the same as the ocean view except it has a balcony. I would only recommend this one if you are going to be spending time in your room.

I hope you find what you are looking for!! =]

Middle of the ship is the least rocky, you should get a room with a balcony if you want a view.

The best thing to do is to try to get a state room on one of the lower decks toward the middle of the ship. This way you are closer to the stabilizer and that means a smoother ride. As far as the ocean view that should be fine too. One thing grandma might want to do is to get some sea sick pills and take them before the ship even leaves port. Better safe than sorry!

Good Luck and Enjoy!!!!!

I've found that that it varies from front to back as opposed from side to side. Meaning that, from front to back, the middle of the ship is best. Balcony, ocean view or interior shouldn't matter.

yes. . get a oceanview so you can look out. try to get a room in the middle of the boat. the ships now have stabilizers, so its not as rocky as they used to be, but bring dramamine, cuz you will get seasick if you arent used to being on a boat for a couple of days . :)

Michael
Middle of the ship. Best place for older people :)
