Wide range. You can book cabins from suites to inside staterooms. Insides are the least expensive and what we always book. There are many open deck areas for viewing and we only use our cabin to sleep.
I have an Alaska 7 nighter booked right now, mid-May, Star Princess at $409 pp for the whole week. There are taxes of $113, and tips of $70 for a total cost around $600 per person, including meals and entertainment.
We sailed Carnival Ecstasy in December, 5 nights, Mexico, again inside for $199 pp. Taxes and tips brought the total up to $280pp.
Two years ago, we sailed Alaska, 7 nights, Celebrity Mercury, inside, for about $100 more than the above mentioned Star Princess.
I am a bargain hunter, and only book when I find good prices. Booking inside cabins allows us to cruise more often. If you want balconies, suites, etc. you will pay more.

It depends where you are planning on going and what time of year. Alaskan cruises are much more than caribbean cruises but not as much as a Mediterranean cruise. The price will also differ significantly depending on the cruise line. Your Carnival cruise will be cheaper than your Azamara. I would reccommend going to a travel agent if you aren't sure about any of this stuff. If you belong to AAA you can book through them and get great member benefits such as free cabin upgrade and on-board ship credit. If you know you want to go to the caribbean and are somewhat flexible on your dates I would check out cheapcaribbean.com. They have some great deals! |

Pricing doesn't go by that. It goes by per person, double occupancy which means they expect you to be traveling with somebody else. The price varies too much to tell you even roughly depending on where you go, and what cruise line you use, and how long. A very good deal would be a cruise that is about $80 per person, per day, but you wouldn't see those kinds of prices often. |
